Know your dimensions and weight
Share the length, width, height and weight of the load, plus the position of lifting and lashing points. These decide the trailer type: flatbed, low-bed or multi-axle.
Survey the route
Bridges, roundabouts, overhead cables and site entrances all matter for tall or wide loads. We check the route before loading and plan the safest path.
Permits and escorts
Oversized loads may need permits from the relevant authorities and escort vehicles. Allow time for this in your project schedule, and we will coordinate the paperwork with you.
Loading and securing
Loads are placed to spread weight across the axles, then chained or strapped at the approved points. Our crew checks the securing again after the first kilometres of the trip.
Delivery and offloading
Confirm who will offload at site and whether a crane is needed. We can supply crane trucks and riggers so delivery and placement happen in one visit.
